October Wine Down Downtown

Description

October 26 from 5-8pm, during Boo042 Retail Trick Or Treating in Downtown Brandon, we will partner with O42 Wine & Spirits for the second Wine Down Downtown! We will have a handful of wine sampling locations, with 10 new varieties to sample, offering warm Fall notes! We've increased the number of participants from September since it sold out so quickly, but anticipate this one will too! Check-in will be at the Courtyard Building. We will armband you and hand you a tasting glass at check-in! A large event map will be present through out for you to reference or take a photo of! Restaurants will have entree pairings posted on their front doors, should you get hungry or want to end the night with a bite to eat!

While visiting our participating retailers, be sure to stop by the 042 Farmers Market to shop with local vendors.

The Rankin Chamber is hosting a pumpkin decoration contest from 4:30 - 7:00pm. They will be set up in front of Myrick Interior Design. There are categories for children 2-12 years old! Bring them carved, painted or decorated! You can take them home or leave them through 11/1 for a "Pumpkin Parade" to be on display downtown. We will dispose of all pumpkins 11/1! 

Boo042 will be happening too! We'll have a child friendly "Witches Brew" beverage available in the courtyard of The Courtyard Building. If you are bringing your family, dress them in costume for trick or treating with the Downtown business participants. Burgers, Blues, Barbecue will have precious children's themed drinks for sale. The Vault Venue will also have many characters at their "Movie Mania" event. No charge to meet the characters!

Hocus Pocus will begin at 6:30pm or when dark enough at 201 N. College Street. You are welcome to claim your spot with your chairs and blankets before you start Wine Down Downtown!
